何を食べてもおいしいお店はかき氷も美味でした：神楽坂「紀の善」

営業時間11:00～21:00（月～土曜）、 12:00～18:00（日曜祝日） 第三日曜定休
食べたのは…2003年8月
主な値段は…氷宇治金時 750円、氷白玉あずき 750円
神楽坂の有名な甘味処（地下鉄、JRは飯田橋駅下車、すぐ）。神楽坂の上がり口すぐのとなりにある老舗です。
氷はどっちかというとパリパリ系なんですが、空気をたくさん抱いていて、口溶け非常になめらかです。

写真に注目。氷の上には抹茶がかかり、その上には甘さ控えめの粒あんがドカッと豪快に、さらにその上には白玉が二つ載っています。この順番は東京の甘味処としては非常に珍しいレイアウトだと思います。
この載せ方が効いていて、白玉がムチムチと柔らかく、たまらない舌触り。通常白玉は氷の下に埋まっていて、冷えすぎて固く粉っぽくなっているのが多いのですが、氷の冷たさをあんが遮ることによって、ゆでたての白玉の柔らかさが保たれているのです。お店は狙っているのでしょうか？だとしたらさすが…！
さらに、抹茶も非常においしい。そのままお薄でいただいても、相当おいしいだろうなと思わせる抹茶です。つぶあんの味は甘さひかえめなのですが、いいあずきを使ってるんだろうなぁ…と思わせる美味。宇治金時というのはえてして、抹茶がおいしいとつぶあんがイマイチ、ということが多いのですが、ここはあんも抹茶もさらに白玉だんごもハイレベルです。スバラシイ！

HARADA13さん、遅くなりましたがコメントありがとうございました。「初租 岡埜栄泉総本舗」、地元なのに喫茶室を使ったことがなく（売り場の奥にあるんですよね。見落としてました…）、コメントいただいて行ってみたのですが、残念ながら夏期休業でした…。
紀の善の氷は、値段と味のバランスからいったら、東京屈指のおいしい氷だと思います。おためしくださいませ^^

神楽坂 紀の善まで召し上がったら、 神楽坂坂上 花 お薦めします。有名なフレンチや寿司大〆の並びです。
