冷房の利いた店内でザクザク氷はキツイ…：浅草「梅園」

主な値段は…氷宇治金時 600円（たしか）
浅草の仲見世通りにある、有名な老舗甘味処です。デパートの地下などに支店がたくさんあるのでお馴染みかも。緋毛氈の敷かれた風情のある外でも甘味をいただけますが、今回は店内でかき氷をいただくことに。
このお店は食券制です。入り口のガラスだなのなかにサンプルがあるので、何を注文するか決めてから入りましょう。
今回頼んだのは氷宇治金時。サイズは中くらいってところでしょうか。深みのある器は中が透けて見えないので、一見宇治だけみたいにも見えます。
氷は写真でも分かるくらい粗くかいたタイプ。クラッシュアイスに近いかも。店内は結構冷房が効いているので、粗くかいた氷はどんどん体を冷やしていきます。さむ～いぃ。
宇治は色が地味なんですが、別段味がうすいということもなく。しっかり甘いけど、ちゃんとお抹茶の味もいたします（個人的にはザクザク氷には、もっと濃厚な抹茶の方が合うような気はしますが）。氷の下にはあずきが沈んでいて、こちらもしっかり甘いです。なお、ここは白玉は付きません。メニューがないのでよく分からないけど、たぶん白玉とか練乳のトッピング注文はないものと思われます。
ちょっと甘みがきついのと、ザクザク氷で寒くなってしまったけど、普通においしい氷宇治金時でした。ちなみにこのお店、冬場は粟ぜんざいが名物です。
