蕨餅が有名だけどかき氷もウマイ：明や「宇治金時」

食べたのは・・・2004年7月
主な値段・・・・・宇治金時580円
実はこのお店は全く知らなかった。
友人に会ったときに蕨もちの話になり、「そういえばこのお店はかき氷おいしいんだよ」と言われて即行くことに決定。タイミングがよかった。
このお店の近くはけっこうウロウロしているのにぜんぜん知らなかった。
店に着くとお店の回りに車がいっぱい。やはり人気のお店らしい。
基本的に和菓子屋さんで、テーブルが4つほど。
氷のメニューは宇治が中心で、気になったのは氷すもも。聞いてみるとすももはまだやっていないとのこと。残念。
注文したのは宇治金時。
他の友達も宇治ミルクと宇治で見た目はほぼ一緒。
最初一口食べて・・・「苦い」。
シャリシャリと中ほどまで行くと「甘い」。
氷の中ほどでシロップをかけて上から抹茶をかけているようだ。
柔らかく炊けている小豆がほどよくのっている。
突出したインパクトはないが、すべてバランスの良い上品な宇治金時だった。

全体を混ぜながら食べる友人は「あっま～い！」と言っていましたが、ふちっこから食べる私ともうひとりはそのコメントに「？？」。
「苦いよね」「そうだよね」という会話がしばらく続きました。
氷はね、シャリシャリ系でした。
サイズ・・・衝撃的な大きさではなかったので高さ15センチくらいかと。（笑）
