きよめ餅といえば名古屋の名物のひとつで、やわらかい求肥でつぶあんをくるんだおまんじゅうのこと。
そのきよめ餅のお店の茶寮。
名鉄神宮前駅のロータリーに面した場所にあり、入り口には和菓子洋菓子が幅広い品揃えで売られていて、茶寮は奥にある。
店内は昔懐かしい和風喫茶の趣き。
和菓子屋さんなのだから餡子は食べておかないと、ということで宇治金時を注文。
氷はしゃりしゃり、濃い目の抹茶シロップが上にかかっていて餡子は見えない。
シロップが足りるのかな～と不安になったりしたが、濃いので食べ続けるとシロップがかかっていないところまで甘く感じてくる。
これでたっぷりかかっていたらさぞかし強烈な甘さだろう。
餡子は粒あんで甘みがしっかりついていて、割と固めに炊いてある。
「名古屋っぽい」という表現はわかりにくいかもしれないが、シロップにしても餡子にしても味がどれも濃い目。
上品とはいえないがシロップがかかっていない部分とのバランスがほどよいので、納得の味。
熱田さん（熱田神宮）にお参りの際には寄っていただきたいお店。
