お店は大きな国道を少し入ったところにある。かなり通行量が多いのにさほどうるささを感じない。
壷やかわいい陶器の置物や人形の置かれた庭を通って茶房に通される。
床の間のある和室はギャラリーも兼ねており、抹茶茶碗や壁掛けなど目にも楽しい空間になっている。
メニューを見せていただくと「かき氷」というものがない。
一緒に行った友人と顔を見合わせて「？？？」。
お店の方に聞くと「雪茶」という名前になっているそうだ。かき氷メニューはこれ一種のみ。
注文して美しく整えられた庭を眺めつつ雪茶を待つ。
「雪茶」とはよく言ったものだと思った。
氷はまさしく雪。ふわふわと真っ白な雪だ。
抹茶のシロップもおいしい抹茶の風味がしっかり利いていて、この抹茶でお薄を飲んだらさぞかしおいしかろうとかき氷から離れたことを考える。
さて、餡子は・・・と食べ進んでいくとなんと普通のあずきのあんと白あんの二種類入っている。
それぞれ柔らかい甘さで、二種類入っていることで変化が楽しめる。
氷、抹茶、白あんと黒あんをすべて堪能することができた。
「和」の雰囲気が好きな方にはぜひお勧めしたいお店。
