来年開港される中部国際空港のお膝元常滑市。
今年の夏に改装オープンしたきれいなお店で、店内には常滑焼がいたるところに飾られている。
ちょうどおやつどきに行ったため、かなりの混雑ぶりだった。
宇治金時を注文して、中庭を眺める。中庭にも縁台が出されていて外で食べることもできる。
いや、デカイ。ものすごくデカイ。引くくらいデカイ。
シロップも何もかからない状態で、別にシロップは添えられている。
雪国に行ってキレイな雪をがっしりつかんでそのまま器に乗せたような、そんな迫力さえ感じる。
氷はとにかくふわふわ。
抹茶シロップをかけるとシュ～っと溶ける。かなり甘さ控えめ。
お店の人があちこちで「甘みの足りないときはこれで調節してください」と説明している。
私には何も言われなかったのでおかしいと思っていたら、私以外のところには白みつの入れ物が置かれていた。忘れられた・・・。
それでもさほど甘さが足りないというほどでもないし、気にしない。
食べてみると口どけも早い。
氷の味もいいし、食べていくとあんこというよりはよく炊けたあずきがた～っぷり入っている。
ちょっと大きさに驚いたけど、全体のバランスはとてもいい。

そうなんですよ〜おいしいんです！ここのかき氷のファンなので実家に帰る度に食べに行ってます！東京でここの氷に匹敵するお店がなかなかなくて…このフワフワ氷を東京でも食べたい〜！ちなみに常滑だけじゃなくて、半田にもありますよ。こちらは駅からすぐなので比較的行きやすいかも。
