中華街で食べられる台湾式かき氷：横浜「三希堂」

食べたのは…2004年9月、2005年7月
主な値段は…台湾式かき氷850円
横浜中華街の有名な茶藝館「三希堂」で、夏場かき氷を出していることをご存じな方はあまりいらっしゃらないのではないでしょうか。三希堂は、おいしい中国茶をいただける茶藝館。お茶は、台湾のものを中心にそろえています。
さて、夏の間だけの営業のかき氷をご紹介します。三希堂の場合、かき氷メニュー
は2種類あって、載っている具（トッピング？）が違います。トッピングは1つ交換可能。
2004年夏のメニューは、
・薬膳タイプ…緑豆、仙草、亀ゼリー、八寶粥
・ツルツルタイプ…愛玉子（草の種から作るゼリー）、アロエ、紅豆、バジルシード
の2種類。
この写真は、今年（2005年）食べにいったときのものなので、上に書いたメニューを混ぜたような感じになってます。まだかき氷メニューを本格的に始める前で「今年もちゃんと2種類選べるようにしようと思ってるんだけど、とりあえずそろえられるもので始めちゃったんです。ごめんなさいねー」とお店の方がおっしゃってました。
基本的に味付けは黒蜜。私は黒蜜大好きなので、非常においしくいただきました。
台湾式かき氷は、具だくさんでいいんですよね。愛玉子とか亀ゼリーみたいなつるつるした具、バジルシードのプチプチ、各種甘い豆など、食感が違うものが混じっているのがまた、食べていて楽しい。
ただ、結構サイズが大きいこと、また、氷のかき方が粗くないとはいえちょっとつぶつぶしていること、店内がキンキンに冷房がきいていること（もとは温かいお茶を飲む店ですからね）…といった理由のため、食べ終わる頃には結構寒くなります(^^ゞ
おまけ写真。もし二人以上だったら、一人は中国茶を注文して、氷は半分こしてもいいかも。
ちょっと余談になりますが…。
2002年の夏に台湾に行ったとき、マンゴーやらイチゴやら芋やら豆やらいろんなかき氷を食べてきたんですが（イチゴ氷の話だけはここに紹介があります）、台湾はかき氷天国なんですよね。種類も多いし、お店はあちこちにあるし、暑い中外で食べることも多くて、ホント、むちゃくちゃおいしいのです。そのうち、台湾のかき氷の話も書きたいなあ。最近は台湾式かき氷を食べられるお店が東京にも増えてきているので、今後ご紹介できると思います。
なお、三希堂の店内はこんな感じ。広いお店ではないし、お客さんが席にいる時間も長い（何煎もお茶を飲むんだから、当然なんですが）ので、土日は並んでいることも多いですけれど、中華街に行く機会があれば是非どうぞ。

あんころりんさん、コメントありがとうございます！氷ぜんざい、私もすごーーーく気になってるんです。かき氷サイトなんてやってるうちに、一度は夏の沖縄に行って食べてみたいモノだと思っていたのですが…
沖縄と台湾はいろいろ似ているみたいですね。台湾人の友人に言わせると「日本はちょっと遠いけど、沖縄は隣」だそうで、台湾側も沖縄に親近感を抱いているようですよ～。
