下町に突然現れた和カフェ：北斎茶房「氷きなこミルク」

主な値段は…「氷宇治金時」750円 「氷あんず」685円「氷きなこミルク」630円
掲示板で教えていただいて行ってきた和カフェ「北斎茶房」。錦糸町の北斎通り沿いにあります。錦糸町駅から徒歩10分くらい。
シンプルで清潔感のある店構え、入ると高い天井は開放感があり、鉄瓶でお湯が沸いている…店員さんの笑顔もにこやかで押しつけがましくなく、なんともいい感じのお店です。錦糸町というのはなんというか、よく言えば飾らない、悪く言えば下世話な感じの下町（私は地元民なのであえてそう言わせていただく）なのですが、その錦糸町にあるとは思えない感じの上品なお店でした。
そんな北斎茶房のかき氷は、こんな感じ。
まずは定番、氷宇治金時。750円はちょい高めかな、と思いましたが、アンズがのって、白玉も載って、だと仕方ないかなあ。
この宇治金時、実に上品なお味でした。いい豆だなーと思わせる粒あん、ちゃんと主張のある抹茶。ただ、ちょっと甘さ控えめでは…
平たいお皿に盛られてくるのも特徴です。この手のお店としては西荻窪の「甘いっ子」が代表格ですが、ここも似た感じ。見た目の派手さはなくなる半面、食べやすくていいんですよね。
氷のかきかたは細くて長い感じ。十条「だるまや」ほどではないですが、ショリショリ、という食感が楽しめます。
ほかの氷も行ってみましょう。
氷きなこミルク。氷に、練乳がかかり、きなこがどっさりとかかっています。
絵的には地味ですが、しみじみ美味。このきなこが美味しいんですよ！（力説）
ただしこれも甘さ控えめ。宇治金時よりもさらに甘くないため、同行者は「これ、甘くなさ過ぎ…」とあまり気に入ってなかったことを付け加えておきます。
黒みつ氷きなこがけ、というのもあったんで、もしかするとこっちのほうが好みだったかも。
三つ目、氷杏（あんず）。
個人的に、いちばん「…？」と思ったのが実はこれでした。絵的にはきれいなんだけど、味が…基本的に味付けはみつ（せんじ、スイ）のみなので、ちょっと寂しい感じです。あんずはおいしいけど、氷と一緒に食べるソース、ってカンジじゃないしなあ…。
アンズの部分と、バニラアイスの部分を除くと「味がなーい」と思いながら食べることになるのでした。
今回は氷しか食べなかったけど、パフェとかあんみつとか美味しそうだった！季節モノの期間限定パフェとかあるみたいだし…。次回はかき氷じゃないメニューを食べてみたいなあと思います。
