大人の甘さとほろ苦さ：志むら「氷キャラメル」

去年初めて食べたお店のなかでも、忘れられないおいしさだったのが目白の志むら。「シーズンが終わる前に、今年も一度は食べておきたい！」と思い、再訪しました。今回の目的は、前回気になりつつ食べられなかった、氷キャラメルです。あ、前回訪問（去年）したときの話は、この辺に。
氷キャラメル、700円。
ここのかき氷は大きくて、出てくると「おお！」と思います。でもとっても軽～いから、余裕で食べられちゃうんですよねぇ。氷そのものもおいしいし、かかってるソースもおいしい。
さて、今回の目的である氷キャラメル。
キャラメルと聞いて、森永ミルクキャラメル、みたいな味を想像してたのですが、いい意味で裏切られました。“キャラメル”じゃなくて、“カラメル”なんですね。プリンの下（上）に入ってる、アレです。
カラメルソースはあまり甘くないこともあり、真ん中にちょっと練乳が垂らしてあります。
市販のプリン（プッチンプリンなどの焼いてないプリン）に入っているカラメルは、色は黒いけどあまりほろ苦さがないですよね。でもホントのカラメルは、ちょっと甘くて苦い味だったりします。
プリンのカラメルは、砂糖を焦がして、十分に熱くなったところにちょっと水を加えて作ります。こうやって作ると、砂糖の甘さに、焦げたようなほろ苦さが加わります。
志むらの氷キャラメルは、まさにこのカラメルの味でした。私もたまに自分でプリンを作るんですが、「同じ味だ！」と思いました(笑)
さて、付き合ってくれた友人に「何がオススメ？」と聞かれたので、もちろん氷生いちごをオススメしておきました。
出てきた瞬間、友達が思わず「おおっ」と声を上げているのをみて、「やったー♪」と思ってしまいましたよ。食べ出してからはさらにうれしそうだった＆とってもおいしいと喜んでいたので、誘った私もうれしかったです。
ビジュアルも味もインパクト大の志むらのかき氷、今年もやっぱり美味でした。
